Have your stars aligned? Have you found your good fortune? It is something that we think about this time of year...finding our passions...resolving to be better...changing our stars...
So how can you change your stars? It sounds unrealistic, as if it were a line from a fairy tale...but those are just words. The reality of what you do is not devalued by the way you speak...the flourish that you give your words...And that is exactly how you change your stars...by the attitude that you have.
Many a true optimist has been criticized for being too much "in their own little world", always seeing the silver lining...basically annoying the heck out of their pessimist counterpart.
In "reality" it's usually a "true pessimist" that can find the negativity in just about anything. They will always find a reason why something won't work, or an excuse that will deflect responsibility from what they have failed to do...In the meantime the optimist keeps plugging along with a can-do attitude...knowing that anything is possible. We just know (us optimists) that it's determination and a little bit of elbow grease that take us to our destination....our Good Fortune.
